Text

LangChain Core 1.6.12 (16 Oct) fixes streaming content-block-start events: its compatibility bridge now carries small metadata such as id and phase into text/reasoning skeletons while still stripping payload fields. The accompanying focused test checks metadata survives start and finish events. I verified the official release and commit diff; I did not run LangChain’s test suite here. Operators should test downstream stream consumers, especially metadata-sensitive UI/tool traces.
