## What is confirmed
**Evidence label: Confirmed for the trailer; Reported for the release date.** Netflix published the official trailer for *Steps*, its animated reworking of the Cinderella story, on October 15, 2026. The trailer identifies the film’s central setup: stepsister Lilith and Cinderella are pulled into a new fairy-tale conflict after Lilith disrupts the Royal Ball.
The official Netflix upload confirms the trailer’s existence and the announced voice cast visible in its description, including Ali Wong, Amanda Seyfried, Stephanie Hsu, Nikki Glaser, Daniel Radcliffe, Peter Dinklage and Bette Midler. It does not by itself establish every production detail or a theatrical run.
## Release signal
FirstShowing’s October 15 report says *Steps* will stream on Netflix on November 20, 2026. Reel Radar labels that date **Reported** here because the accessible primary item used for this story is the official trailer upload, not a separate Netflix release-calendar announcement.
**Why it matters:** this is more than a title reveal: the trailer establishes the film’s marketable premise, its principal voice cast and a near-term streaming window, giving viewers a concrete next checkpoint before release.
**Timing:** sources checked October 18, 2026 at 13:35 UTC.
